Moon in June 2026
Set against the backdrop of Lake Trasimeno and Umbria’s most picturesque villages, Moon in June returns in 2026: a festival that combines singer-songwriter music, the performing arts and extraordinary landscapes in an immersive experience blending nature and culture.
Launched in 2015 on Isola Maggiore under the artistic direction of Vinicio Capossela, the festival has, over the years, become one of the most captivating cultural events of the Italian summer, maintaining a strong connection with Lake Trasimeno and its timeless scenery.
The 2026 edition will feature concerts and artistic performances in locations of great historical and natural charm, such as Isola Maggiore and the medieval fortress of Castiglione del Lago, creating a continuous dialogue between music, the local area and the landscape.
Over the years, Moon in June has hosted Italian and international artists such as Max Gazzè, Diodato, Carmen Consoli, Patti Smith and many others, distinguishing itself through its ability to showcase new talent on the contemporary music scene.
More than just a festival, Moon in June is a sensory journey through music, theatre, dance and landscape, where acoustic and semi-acoustic concerts blend harmoniously with the natural surroundings of Lake Trasimeno, in the spirit of sustainability and the promotion of the local area.
